Sculptures of yoga postures, floral designs and intricate patterns are chiselled all over the 84 pillars that support the beautifully carved Shikhara of Mahamandir Jodhpur. A prominent temple worshipping Lord Shiva, Maha Mandir has not only become a glorious shrine attracting thousands of pilgrims but is also a remarkable landmark for travellers and architecture adorers all over the world.
Built-in the ancient Dravidian style, the temple is renowned for its meticulous structure, detailed carvings and immaculate beauty. The inner walls of the temple are lined with illustrious murals. A radiant effigy of Lord Shiva is the main feature of the temple.
